"Cathy is a wonderful vocal coach. Our first lesson together, she was able to quickly put me at ease with her warmth and professionalism. After an initial assessment, she was able to customize the lesson to my ability and give me an array of exercises that would help me sing and sound my best. Cathy's depth of knowledge in the biology of singing and speaking takes her lessons to another level. She is able to pinpoint areas that need improvement and by the end of the lesson, I felt more confident in my abilities. I cannot recommend her enough to all of my colleagues." - Louisa
VOCAL COACH
No two voices are identical. Your voice is completely unique to you. My goal as a coach is to encourage the unique beauty and qualities of your own voice to develop so you can sing many styles of music with ease.
Your speaking voice conveys as much about you as do your words. Your confidence, your humor, your emotion, and your ability to maintain an audience’s attention depend not only on your content but also on your delivery. In fact, a powerful and/or beautiful speaking voice can have a tremendous influence on the people who hear it.
Through breathing techniques, enunciation and voice development exercises, and dramatic exercises;
you will learn the tools to make you a better speaker, and be able to recite different materials (poetry, monologues, sides) with ease and a beautiful speaking voice. You will gain clarity, resonance, & confidence.
